Your choices

Your email address is used to fulfil your request for the PDF. The newsletter is optional: only the unchecked consent box followed by your email confirmation adds you to the active mailing list. It covers our colour tips, offers and partner product recommendations, including affiliate links. We do not give your address to these advertisers.

Data and retention

We keep your email, language, request date, source page, and, if applicable, the wording and dates of consent, confirmation and withdrawal. Resource-only and unconfirmed addresses are deleted after 30 days without a new request. Newsletter records are kept for at most three years after confirmation or withdrawal. Confirming a new subscription starts a new period. Delivery messages are removed from the sending queue within 30 days. Our hosting provider processes these records to operate the service.

Short-lived hashed network identifiers help limit abuse; the newsletter does not store raw IP addresses. Aggregate daily counts measure requests and confirmations. No email address is sent to analytics and our emails have no tracking pixel. After confirmation, you can optionally choose interests and separately allow measurement of email clicks and reading on our site. Measurement is off by default; you can withdraw it in Preferences. Individual click and reading records are linked to your subscription for at most 90 days, then anonymised. Unsubscribe and delivery status records help respect your choices. Popup impressions, requests and confirmations are linked for up to 90 days to compare invitation settings, without cross-site tracking. Suppression records prevent sending after a verified bounce, complaint or unsubscribe request for up to three years. Standard server security logs are separate from these signup records.

Browser preferences

A session cookie protects forms and remembers actions during the visit. Local browser storage remembers when you close the popup (7 days) or request the kit (90 days), to avoid repeating the offer. These preferences are not advertising identifiers.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe using the link in our emails. To access, correct, delete or export your data, withdraw consent, or request a restriction, contact the address above. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing. You can also contact your data protection authority, including the CNIL.
